Abstract :
Rhytidectomy is an important research field of current beauty industry. Stretching wrinkles with an uniformly distributed pressure is a widely-used strategy. In this work, in order to evaluate the influence of the strategy on forehead skins, a numerical simulation of stretching forehead wrinkles was performed. By calculating the stretch ratio and stress in the stretching process, we found that stretching the forehead wrinkles may be harmful to the skin. The present study could be used as a reference in cosmetics.
