  • Abstract
    In this paper, a joint carrier frequency offset (CFO) and channel estimation is proposed for a space-time block coded orthogonal frequency division multiplexing cooperative system. Based on the features of the considered system, the CFO and channel estimates are determined in accordance with the well-defined figure-of-merit formed by the maximum-likelihood criterion. To reduce the computational complexity, an iterative scheme is designed for the CFO estimation. Numerical results demonstrate the efficacy of the proposed estimation.
