Abstract :
Dyssynchronization of the SA and VA nodes of the cardiac transmission system may be the underlying cause of certain blocking arrhythmias. In this paper, a modified “three-oscillator heart system” model was used, in order to examine the cardiac system with higher precision. With the application of a properly designed control method, computer simulations of the arrhythmias were obtained with or without a time delay and the following steps-by-step approach was adopted, to eliminate any ongoing abnormalities in the cardiac rhythm: Following the addition of a voltage with the amplitude a and the frequency w, the time delay factor T was applied to the oscillators and an appropriate controller was designed for the model of interest. In the last step, the synchronization errors obtained by Matlab SIMULINK were simulated for the conditions, when there´s a control input or not.
