Abstract
In this paper, a hairpin split ring resonator (SRR) is used to design a miniaturized dual-band metamaterial (MM). The unit cell of this MM structure is constructed by four hairpin SRRs and all of them are mutually rotated by 90°. Furthermore, a flexible substrate is adopted to improve the practicability of the MM. The current distribution of the MM has also been investigated to explain the principle of the dual-band resonances.
