Abstract :
A circularly polarized (CP) patch antenna with parasitic square-ring is presented for UHF RFID reader. The operating frequency of the proposed antenna covers 877MHz to 945MHz with VSWR less than 2. The size of this antenna is 174 × 171 × 10 mm̂3. A 3dB axial ratio is about 56MHz from 878MHz to 934MHz. The antenna gain is about 6.3-7.9dBic.
