Abstract
A broadband metamaterial screen for reflectivity attenuation is presented in this article. Three M-type barium ferrites were mixed together and used as substrate material of the screen. By replacing dielectric material with the mixed magnetic material in the substrate, the absorption bandwidth of metamaterial screen increases. The proposed screen can operate from 4.4GHz to 8.2GHz with reflectivity of less than -10dB when it is only 1.9mm (0.0285λL) thick. The highest FoM value was obtained (21.6).
