Abstract :
A low-profile, reconfigurable and vertically polarized printed antenna is presented. In this structure, the dog-bone pair structure is used for achieving bi-directive radiation pattern which is installed just above a capacitance-loaded short monopole antenna. For controlling the direction of the radiation, four PIN diodes and bias circuits are also installed to switch the antenna to control the radiation direction. Finally, the measured results are compared with simulated results.
