Abstract
The application of X-ray scanning technique is proposed to investigate the internal printing details of a complex waveguide antenna fabricated by 3-D metal-direct-printing technique. As the antenna is a multilayer structure and printed as a whole piece of metal, the internal structure of the antenna is not possible to be directly measured or checked by human eyes. One possible method is to take an X-ray scanning of the antenna and the detailed structure can be measured in the X-ray image.
