A new algorithm for segmentation and fracture detection in X-ray images

Nowadays, computer aided systems has started to take the place of the old traditional systems. As the technology improves, researchers develops new skills on the computer aided diagnostic systems. Image processing techniques are utilized more and more on the detection of broken bones. Therefore, segmentation is one of the most important step of the detection of broken bones. In this study, related segmentation methods are investigated and a new segmentation method is tried to be developed. After the segmentation of the bone, fracture detection is studied.
