Implementing Chi-Square method and even mirroring for cryptography of speech signal using Matlab

Abstract :
This paper proposes a cryptography method where the Chi-Square test used in modeling and simulation for finding whether a given set of numbers are random or not has been implemented for performing cryptography on a speech signal. This speech signal which has been applied with Chi-Square cryptography is now applied with mirroring of even elements in order to increase the complexity of proposed cryptography method. With the change in time and there is increase in the threats to data, for the safety of data there is a need to changing the method of cryptography. As now days most of the communication whether on the internet of plain old line is through speech. The technique proposed has been implemented in Matlab environment. The experimental observations and results are derived in matlab have also been discussed below in this paper. In this paper, chi-square cryptography has been performed on speech signal elements and finally a mirroring of the even elements of the speech signal has been done to generate a speech signal. The proposed algorithm is easy to implement and involves a less complex key pair and easy to program.
