Abstract
India is playing the key role for the production of software, Engineering Equipments and automobiles globally. The growth of Indian industry depends on the skilled labour. In the last few years many new engineering colleges have grown up like a wild mushroom. After more than 3000 Engineering colleges also, the industries are facing the major problems in skilled labour in India. In this paper we are discussing the gap between today´s Engineering Education and industry requirements and also the major steps need to fulfill the gap between Engineering Education and Industry.
