Abstract :
Course outcome assessment is a pre-requisite for any programme to assess the performance of the student during the programme of study. Corrective actions are planned accordingly for the achievement of the same. The paper discusses the methodology for the assessment of course outcome of an individual student against pre-defined target. The assessment and analysis also provide the path to mobilize the different activities in the programme and serve as content beyond syllabus. Further, the cumulative assessments of the course outcomes are then used as one of the tool for the assessment of programme outcomes.
