Abstract
Washington Accord process of accreditation as adopted by National Board of Accreditation (NBA, India) plays a vital role in making policy and for implementation of Outcome Based Education (OBE). Implementation of OBE is based entirely on the evaluation of the students for different graduate attributes. These graduate attributes are nothing but the programme outcomes and its attainment through course outcomes is a major tool used for assessment. While the analysis of the attainment gives a measure of the outcome, the corrective measures taken (after each assessment) shows how the student progresses and improves towards the end of the course. This paper shows that analysis of the Power Electronic course outcomes for assessment of Programme Outcomes as one of the tool. It also shows that improvements, in the assessment of the students who do not meet the pre-defined target, reported after corrective measures taken that reflects in the attainment of course outcomes.
