Abstract :
A free-space method for the reconstruction of longitudinally inhomogeneous chiral material is proposed in this paper. The developed technique is based on the use of state transition matrix method. The proposed approach provides the permittivity profile of the medium in terms of the reflection and transmission coefficients. To test the performance of the proposed method and to show its effectiveness, it is tested against a typical example.
