  • Abstract
Impairments in the in-phase/quadrature (I/Q) modulators can adversely affect the performance of wireless transmitters. This problem is much more noticeable in dual-band transmitters including two I/Q modulators. In this paper, a 2D Hammerstein model is proposed to model the I/Q modulator impairments and power amplifier (PA) nonlinearity in concurrent dual-band transmitters. The obtained results revealed the accuracy and the superiority of the proposed model compared to conventional 2D models.
