Abstract :
In this paper, we propose novel E-plaue and H-plaue T-junctions in double-ridge waveguide with compensation elements. In comparison with rectangular waveguides, double-ridge waveguide technology shows enhanced features in terms of bandwidth, and simplifies the implementation of an adequate matching over wider frequency ranges due to a more uniform field distribution. As a result, the proposed structures present an excellent response as a power divider over a whole octave bandwidth, with a flat insertion loss of 3 dB and a very low reflection on the input port.
