Abstract
Cooperative systems in traffic and transport provide that vehicles communicate wirelessly with other vehicles, infrastructure (roads and related equipment) and other users (pedestrians, VRU, etc.). Technology of cooperative system allows two-way communication: V2V - vehicle to vehicle, V2I - vehicle to infrastructure, V2U-vehicle to other users (eg. Vulnerable Road User - VRU), I2U - infrastructure to other users, etc. The application of modern ICT technologies in this area aims to creating integrated solutions in the field of road safety, energy-efficient transport, more environmentally friendly solutions, etc. Some basic approaches of cooperative architecture are presented in the paper. The paper is part of the deliveries of the project "Implementation of cooperative systems in optimizing the energy efficiency of transport in the cities".
