Abstract :
In this research, we improve the performance of the OFDM time synchronization using autocorrelation and crosscorrelation with statistical refinement. At first, the time estimation is performed using autocorrelation and crosscorrelation. The result of this estimation is refined using statistical technique to obtain a robust estimate of correct timing, especially on multipath channel system. Computer simulation indicates that this method is robust in high spread multipath environment. Its performance is better compared to the previous methods.
