Abstract :
The elemental theory of chaos characteristics parameters such as correlation dimension and Kolmogorov entropy are introduced. Based on the data from the test rig for automobile braking - suspension vibration isolation efficiency, the vibration curves of automobile suspension are obtained. The system parameters such as first order nature frequency and damp rate are calculated through the vibration curve. The curve of power spectrum density of test automobile suspension vibration signal is given and the power in the band containing the first order nature frequency is got. The flow chart of MATLAB program is put forward and the chaos characteristics parameters such as correlation dimension and Kolmogorov entropy are calculated. The vibration isolation performance of automobile suspension can be characterized with chaos parameters.
