Abstract :
Innovation has gained prominence and importance within organizations as a means of ensuring competitiveness. Innovation management is usually considered in order to improve the efficiency of internal administrative processes in organizations. However, it may not be considered as a single and well-structured decision making problem, since it involves the need to aggregate different experts´ points of view, and organizations´ priorities and constraints. Thus, this paper proposes the use a multicriteria decision making approach based on a combination of a problem structuring method and a noncompensatory multicriteria decision making method in order to prioritize actions to allow an Information Technology (IT) organization to acquire more efficiency in its processes and consequently increases its market share.
