Abstract
Multifunction radar resource management problems are considered in this paper. A classical solution is shown and compared to a system proposed here in which artificial intelligence methods are used. Neural networks and expert systems are the main tools of the artificial intelligence. An application of the expert system in a signal structure and parameters selection unit is presented and its features are described. Test results are satisfactory and are discussed.
