  • Abstract
    A new extended topology for DAB (dual active bridge) DC-DC converter is presented in this paper. The proposed converter is suitable for medium and high-power applications, however uses circuit elements with low power ratings. Bidirectional power flow, fewer numbers of switches without imposing any limitation on the transferred power rating and zero voltage switching (ZVS) are the main characteristics of the proposed converter. The operation principle of the proposed converter in steady-state is discussed. The simulation and measurement results are given to validate the effectiveness of the proposed converter.
