We applied Lean Manufacturing techniques in the pre-implementation phase. We describe the main occurred incidents and the corresponding contingency actions as well as the best practices identified in the participating SMEs. We highlight the relevance of tackling with the resistance to change through the communication and training. Regular meetings with managers are considered key for the success of the project.
