  • Abstract
    Logos Hope is a passenger ship run by a charity to spread knowledge, help and hope to people around the world. Usually three hundred youngsters are in training to run the ship. This paper describes the training philosophy for engineering watchkeepers, and the part which mechatronic systems play in supporting their training, and in the ships safe and efficient operation.
