Abstract :
With the development of power industry, the scale of power system is much larger and power system operations are becoming increasingly complicated and critical. In allusion to this situation, power system specific training for power system dispatcher is necessary and indispensable. Dispatcher Training Simulator (DTS) is a widely used tool for dispatcher training and evaluation. However, there exist some deficiencies in DTS. It can t reflect dispatchers´ cognition process and the probability of dispatchers´ decisions and choices. So the results of dispatcher evaluation might be influenced by some subjective factors. This paper proposes a framework of Dispatcher Training Simulation Evaluation System (DTSES), which is an effective complement to conventional DTS. DTSES is completely based on simulation and dispatchers´ cognition process are modeled with IDAC (Information, Decision, and Action in Crew context) method. Once fully developed, DTSES can simulate dispatchers´ response to various conditions in detail and calculate the probability of corresponding operation options.
