Abstract
This paper presents an stochastic optimal power flow model in order to assess the effect of Time-Of-Use tariffs on load profile. A bottom-up model is used to represent responsive loads. Uncertainty about consumers´ preferences are modeled by stochastic variables with their probability density functions. The model uses data from a survey about consumption patterns of residential consumers in Brazil. The Point Estimation Method is used to solve the optimization problem. Results obtained with a 192-bus distribution system are presented.
