Abstract
We realize the function of image acquisition and video data transmission which is required in video communication by developing an Android application. We acquire the video data through our camera and divide them into NAL units in a background thread. We parse the local MP4 file in accordance with the H.264 standard to get the parameters sets, which is transmitted before the real video data and useful for decoding and recovering in the receiving end. We achieved the RTSP protocol at the same time to establish a session and accomplish the remote control of the server, including setting up a session of tear down one and releasing the related resources. By realizing the RTP protocol, we can package the video data and send them in correct order.
