Abstract
In order to ensure the visual control of the nursing pigsty, a tree topology with sensors, fan and other equipments through the ZigBee network technology is proposed in this paper. Through the sensors and CMOS camera on the terminal nodes, the piggery environment and living condition are monitored in real time. In traditional ZigBee single path routing, the control packet overhead and network delay is large. When the load is larger, there will be a problem such as network congestion, especially in the video information transmission, and the larger network transmission delay will not be able to guarantee the quality of video service. In this article, a multipath routing algorithm is proposed. In the algorithm, the data can be transmitted through multiple paths at the same time to increase the data transfer rate and system throughput, and to educe transmission delay and data packet loss. In addition, through the predefined node energy threshold, the network will not fail because of one node´s premature death. The experimental results show that the algorithm solves the data packet loss and rapid consumption of energy. It can ensure the quality of video transmission and prolong the survival time of the network.
