  • Abstract
    Visualization technology of plant is important to guide the morphological model construction and the growth state monitoring. Currently, the research mainly focused on the technology of 3D reconstruction based on the real image information and the L-system method based on the morphological structure of the plant. This paper builds the virtual plant by exerting the digital image processing technology to combine the traditional L-system method with the environmental factors of tomato plants. By studying the topology of tomato plants, this paper works on the growth rules deduction of L-system, and researches on the construction of virtual plant model based on the deducted growth rules by introducing the selection and elimination mechanism of intelligent optimization algorithm. At last, the greenhouse tomato plant 3D visual model is finished to meet the requirements of real-time and authenticity.
