Abstract :
Currently in most warehouses, hazardous chemicals are always stacked without effective supervision. In this paper, we analysed Ultra-WideBand (UWB) positioning principle and the main factors that affect positioning accuracy. And we made use of the UWB positioning technology to monitor the position of stacked hazardous chemicals in the warehouse. Moreover, a compensation method of the Thiessen polygon vectors was proposed to position hazardous chemicals to achieve high accuracy. Finally, the experiment results proved that the proposed method could improve the positioning accuracy effectively and was also suitable for monitoring of hazardous chemicals.
