Abstract :
The torque sensor is one of the core components used by emerging intelligent bicycles. A novel Lab VIEW-based automatic testing system for torque sensors is introduced in this article. Motor, magnetic powder brake, temperature & humidity chamber and other equipment are controlled by Lab VIEW. All these make the dynamic testing of temperature and voltage possible. On the basis of curve fitting, a PAM (performance assessment model) is put forward to reflect durability and thermo-sensitiveness of the torque sensor. The model can simulate and predict performance curves of the torque sensors under different temperature and time duration. Tested by experiments, it has been verified that the prediction model has high prediction accuracy and prediction stability, and its test error is less than ±2%. The system helps to reduce the test cost and further helps to optimize the design of the torque sensor.
