Abstract :
In this paper, A general platform by using dSP ACE is designed and developed for control design, algorithm testing and parameter tuning of quadrotors. The platform architecture and components are presented with details on typical quadrotors, hardware-in-loop features and attitude heading reference system (AHRS). Control parameters are conveniently tuned under the constructed testing platform and its corresponding easy-to-use interface. A case study of quadrotor PID controller is carried out then. Experimental results show the effectiveness and feasibility of the developed dSP ACE-based control platform. It possesses a good potential in promoting research in the field of quadrotor flight controllers within the real word environment.
