Abstract :
In new ship isolated power system, fuzzy controllers were used to control energy storage module against load fluctuation. Taking residual capacity allowances of energy storage module as input singles, fuzzy controller dynamically regulated the total goal leveling power of energy storage module and the respective goal leveling power of energy storage module. Residual capacity allowances and output power of energy storage module were used to correct the goal leveling power against load fluctuation and avoid the abrupt power change when residual capacity allowance equaled zero. The models of power station, loads and energy storage module were built based on new ship isolated power system in Matlab/Simulink to test the control strategy for energy storage module.
