Abstract :
In power system of ships, electrical loads change more complex and wider than lands´. Voltage dip is one of the most serious problems of power system quality. The article researches many methods of detecting voltage dip, according to the specificity of power system in ships, αβ converter algorithm based on dq decomposition method was proposed in article. Pointing at the problem of phase delay, the αβ converter algorithm was improved and it was confirmed that the improved method not only shortens detection time which enhance the real-time capability, but also avoids short-term disturbing phenomenon. It can have better compensating accuracy.
