  • Abstract
    A hybrid guidance law based on both the biased pursuit guidance and arc guidance for missile with a strapdown narrow field-of-view (FOV) seeker is presented. The seeker FOV and terminal impact angle are both important limitations for guidance performance metrics when a strapdown seeker used for tracking and penetrating a target A strapdown guidance model is detailed. Then a hybrid guidance law included biased pursuit and arc guidance is analyzed and formulated. Wherein, the look angle information obtained directly from the strapdown seeker is adopted to avoid numerical differentiation operation, and the switch condition is formulated as an implicit function. Then the trajectory simulation results validate the proposed modified guidance law.
