Abstract :
In this paper, based on the essence and characteristics of vague phenomenon, we introduce the concept of vague partition, and present some typical examples. Some of its properties are proven, and several basic terms that can be used to characterize vague partitions are introduced. Finally, we present a useful method to generate a new vague partition from two given vague partitions.
