Abstract :
Temperature, humidity and weight sensors were used collecting corn ear of temperature, humidity and weight value in order to calculate the corn moisture content in the experiment of natural ventilation drying. Average moisture diffusion coefficients were calculated by using Parts´ equation of the moisture, temperature and the diffusion coefficient established to estimate the moisture diffusion activation energy of corn ear in four barns. The results showed that diffusion coefficient apparently tend to rise with temperature increasing. Different barn shape had a great influence on diffusion coefficient. Temperature could accelerate the evaporation of moisture and improve the drying rate of corn. As the changes of temperature, moisture diffusion activation energy, water molecule diffusion needed the smaller energy with the increase of temperature and the water molecule was easy for freedom from the restraint.
