  • Abstract
    Many factors affecting the performance of TCP in Ad-Hoc network are analyzed, and a new TCP Vegas-N algorithm is put forward in order to solve the problem that the traditional TCP protocol can not meet the needs of the Ad-Hoc network. Slow-start algorithm, Base RRT and RRT obtaining value method, congestion control algorithm are improved on the basis of TCP Vegas protocol. Simulation results show that the algorithm can effectively solve the packet loss problem which can not be distinguished in the traditional TCP and can adjust the size of congestion window according to the route hop, and the transmission performance of TCP protocol is improved greatly in Ad-Hoc network.
