Abstract :
This paper presents equations, describing the dynamic behavior of a coaxial magnetic planetary gear and its implementation in a Matlab/Simulink model. Parameters of speed oscillations caused by a disturbance of the drive torque are studied. The paper also includes simplified formulas for calculation an eigenfrequency and damping parameters of the oscillation. Special attention is given to differences in the dynamic behavior of each of the rotors of the magnetic gear.
