Abstract :
Flux-switching permanent magnet linear generator (FSPMLG) has advantages of simple translator structure, and is well suited for the applying for wave energy extraction. In this paper, a gird-unconnected control strategy for FSPMLG based on the vector control and the PI controller is proposed. Firstly, the basic structure of the FSPMLG is introduced. Based on the mathematical models of the FSPMLG, the electromagnetic force equation is deduced. Secondly, the generator control simulation system is established. In addition, in order to tracking the energy of the wave, an electromagnetic force control strategy of the FSPMLG is designed for wave power extraction, and the id and iq control equation is deduced. Lastly, the simulation models of the generator and the proposed control strategy are made and dynamic process is simulated. The results obtained by the simulation indicate that the FSPMLG and the controller are suitable for wave energy conversion.
