Abstract
Energy Harvester is a very useful device to a low power generation. Here, we investigates the implementation of this device which uses sloshing motion of ferrofluid to generate electromotive force(EMF). Ferrofluid is often used on harvester system as it has magnetic properties such as soft iron. Also, there is liquidity in ferrofluid material. The existing energy harvester produces low power and use a motion of body such a permanent magnet. Through the analysis of fluid mechanics and magnetic circuit using back yoke, the energy harvester can be improved in output power. The feasibility of the device is discussed and the EMF characteristics are analyzed by experimental data.
