Abstract
This research aims to examine the possibility of Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) for the application to servo system. This paper proposes a position control at the arbitrary rotor position using measured torque curves. This proposed method is able to compensate the magnetic nonlinearity and manufacturing flaw, and realizes precision torque and position control. This paper verifies our proposed method through experimental results under various loads.
