Abstract :
This paper discusses the optimal combination of the thermoelectric generation concept in building applied PV panels, in order to recover additional electric energy amounts by the waste heat. Moreover, since this concept refers to building applications, the combination of geothermal energy will be also investigated. An insightful study of all its techno-economic aspects will be addressed in the present work and a case study will be presented - based on real annual PV generation and environmental data.
