Abstract
We proposed a method for estimating photovoltaic (PV) output in an electrical power system using the power flow measured by a power flow sensor at a substation and the solar radiation intensity obtained from pyranometers installed near the system [14]. In the paper [14], we confirmed that the accuracy of the proposed method is sufficiently high using observed data from a photovoltaic power plant where PVs are concentrated near the pyranometer. However, since PVs has various distributions in many practical situations, accuracy verification of the proposed method under the situations is needed. In this paper, we confirmed that the accuracy of the proposed method is sufficiently high even under the situations that PVs are dispersedly distributed.
