  • Abstract
Due to the power peak load shifting, flexible load has considerable schedulable potential and could effectively improve the active distribution network (ADN) operation. After analyzing the scheduling mode and response characteristic of two typical flexible loads, this paper proposed a model for multiperiod service restoration in ADN with flexible load participated. On the basis of flexible load interruption compensation model, an optimization model with objectives of minimum outage time and economic losses and constraints of interruptible load response time is established. The Multi-objective particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm applied to the dynamic optimization model obtains the multiperiod optimal strategy of service restoration. The results of case study verify the validity and rationality of the proposed model and algorithm, and the effect of flexible load participating in service restoration is illustrated.
