Abstract :
The paper develops a MPC (Model Predictive Control) system integrated with functions of model diagnosis, model adjustment and remote monitoring. The system utilizes XML-RPC (XML Remote Procedure Call) technology to establish the remote communication, adopts three-layer framework to create a web service and uses AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) to achieve asynchronous transmission of data between clients and web server. The realization of this MPC system, integrating online control with model diagnosis, model adjustment and remote monitoring into an entirety, can ensure the efficiency of the MPC operation, reduce maintenance costs, and improve the practicability and popularity of the MPC system in industries.
