Abstract :
Delay Tolerant Networks(DTNs) is network architecture designed to enable communication even in an unstable network connectivity between end. Nodes can´t be pre-selected for a route because they can´t know the information of the entire network. Therefore, the relay node should be selected effective to improve network performance. So the movement prediction scheme of the node is needed for this. In this paper, we propose a movement prediction algorithm using Markov chain and applying change rate of property information about the node. The first step approximate property information of a node using index. The property information of a node calculates difference from each index. The second step calculates transition probability matrix P and predicts node movement path.
