Trends in healthy status among students in the department of Health and Human Development, Suceava, Romania, 2013?2015

Overweight and obesity are the fifth risk factor for overall mortality. At least 2.8 million adults die each year as a result of their being overweight or obese. According to WHO, the prevalence of obesity has doubled since 1980 until now. In 2014, over 1.4 billion adults aged over 20 years were overweight. In the Department of Health and Human Development, "Stefan cel Mare" University of Suceava, Romania, a study was carried on 70 students in the program of study Nutrition and Dietetics (between 2013-2015), on the quantity and composition of the daily diet. The results proved that, diet is closely related to the education of the individual, varying by age, sex and very active periods (exams).
