Abstract :
The objective was to study the behavior of the subsystems of life-size simulator HPS during spontaneous and assisted ventilation. Demonstration of the assisted ventilation on the mannequin with the use of lung simulator ASL5000 is described. The scenario for a mannequin was designed to simulate an apnea and technical realization of connection of the mannequin and lung simulator is also described. Advantages and disadvantages of assisted lung ventilation are discussed based on the realized experiments.
