Abstract :
The paper presents a software application which implements a dialog between neuromotor disabled patients and clinicians. The patient can´t speak normally, but he can manifest his intention by moving a finger or other body part which can be translated into a mouse click. The software application reads the mouse click and builds a message for the nurse or other clinician from that hospital. The nurse receives the message on his mobile or by using an internet browser and sends back the response to the patient. The problem is that the patient cannot type the words, but he only could select a word from a given list. The list is not the same for all patients because each one has a different skills level of understanding and communication. This paper shows how the clinician could build different dialog lists customized for each patient and how the patient sends the messages into the system.
